Webcam problems
 

Hi,

I've got the Creative Pc-Cam 500. But Mercury is not being able to find it. I've tried to find a driver for linux, but I wasn't successful. It's quite strange actually, because it seems that linux can identify the model. At least appear in YAST Control Center.

Does anyone know what's going on?

Web cams can be a problem with Linux and apparently not all work. I've been wanting to purchase one myself but don't want to buy one I can't use -- already did that once. I'll be very interested in the response to your query. Good luck with your quest.
