Vlc crashes when opens *.mp3 files

Well, title is quite descriptive. It also happens with *.wma.
It doesn't even play, it crashes instantly.
Files are not corrupted, as clementine opens them well. With *.ogg vlc works well too.
First thing i did was removin ~/.config/vlc. didn't work.
Also reinstalled and changed vendor, tried different versions, installed even more plugins. nothing works.

[0x82563f0] main libvlc: Ejecutar vlc con la interfaz predeterminada. Use «cvlc» para usar vlc sin interfaz.
Violación de segmento
Translation from spanish
execute vlc with default interface. Use <<cvlc>> to execute vlc without interface.
Segment violation

I've installed 12.2 two days ago with Kde. Let me know if you need more information.

for movies that are NOT store bought dvd's ( TS_VIDEO ) you might want to install SMPlayer
it is a qt4 front end to Mplayer , and is in the Packman repo

How did you install VLC ?
VLC 2.05 is also in the packman repo
Code:
zypper in vlc
after installing the packman repo
http://en.opensuse.org/Additional_package_repositories
http://en.opensuse.org/Additional_pa...tories#Packman
it is listed in the yast "install an remove software" gui
under community repos )

have you read through the opensuse documentation?
http://doc.opensuse.org/

or use the vlc repo
