I'm just about out of ideas I tried the command xf86config and going through the set-up, and choosing the lowest settings for my monitor and video card, didn't work. I tried the command sax2, and the config window won't come up I just keep getting that box that pops up saying, Sync out of range. What does the ctrl-alt-f2 do? Do I just hit that key combination at the command prompt, and then log in as root? I'll try anything at this point. I'm getting disgusted w/ Suse, I never had this problem w/ other distros before. Thanks again.
at the last configuration during your instalation where it says Hardware Configuration click on menu where it says Test the configuration if it doesn't work press ctrl+alt f7 from there change 16bit t0 8bit and screeresolution to 800*600 and test again it will work
