triple booting XP, Ubuntu and Suse
I would like to evaluate Suse. I have used it before several times when I was on the road and had computers without operating systems. I had the disks and off I went. Later I installed Ubuntu and have been using it for a couple of years. I even use it on my Dell Inspiron 1200. However I would like to give Suse a test drive again.
I would like to install it on my desktop with two hard drives. One has my copy of XP on it the other has Ubuntu. I would like to format one of those hard drives to install a test copy of Suse. When I went to install Suse, from the DVD downloaded and burned, I ran into a problem. It wanted to delete my slave drive and install itself . . . not very nice. I tried to figure out how to get it to install a partition but couldn't figure it out. I know it must be pretty simple . . . it is just knowing which keys to press. Can someone give me info on how to install Suse on one of my drives. Thanks, Tim |
triple booting xp,ubuntu and suse
If it a fresh installation suse give you a option where she will install
But there is also a possibility of a expert option. If you chose this option you decide where to install, the size off the swap file the size off the linux native file and all the think she needs to know It seems more difficult than it is good luck |
