Toshiba M40 nVidia GO 6600 and SUSE 10.0

Hi,

I just installed SUSE 10.0 Evaluation DVD (not the OSS version) on a Toshiba M40-P545 with a nVidia GeForce GO 6600 (128MB dedicated memory).

I then installed the official nVidia driver 7676 and did the necessary changes to xorg.conf using Sax2.

HOWEVER, I cannot seem to get into the GUI at all.

Could you please help me?

I wrote to nVidia support, and they said that the SUSE kernel I am using does not support the nvidia module, and thus there is nothing they can do about my problem. =(

Thanks for assisting me!!
