Hi Everyone:
These below two page contain links to the security patches. I have noticed that they are different in some ways.
1. SecurityAdvisories (publically accessable)
http://www.novell.com/linux/security/advisories.html
2. PSDB-Security (requires login for downloads)
http://support.novell.com/linux/psdb/Security.html
Most links on those two pages are meant to security patches. On the links on the SecurityAdvisories page, it shows links of the patch files for each version of SUSE Linux (e.g: 9.1, 9.2, 10 etc).
However the links on PSDB-Security shows only files download for a class of SUSE Linux (e.g: SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 for x86 (i386)).
So my question is:
1. Will there be some overlap between SecurityAdvisories and PSDB-Security ?
2. On links of PSDB-Security, will patch files for (SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 for x86 (i386)) apply to all the SUSE Linux 9.X version ?
3. If there is overlap between these, which one is the standard one? (In my environment, I would like to get all possible patches.)
Many thanks in advance.
