SuSE 9.3 fails to install boot loader

Hi all,

I got a problem when installing SuSE 9.3. After the first CD is intalled, it hangs at 57% when installing boot loader, is anybody encountering the same problem before? how do i get it solved?

Just a thought ... do you have an option in your BIOS to protect the boot sector? if you do try turning it off and installing again .... if its protected then YaST cant install the bootloader. OR ... if memory serves me there is an option to install the bootloader somewhere else? you could try that

i got the boot loader on floppy disk first, and write it into MBR from Yast after everything is working, everything works fine now.
