i have just got a new labtop Acer travelmate 4151 with linpus inside
but i try to install many distro none of them worked ..

suse 9.3 couldn't figure out my DVD
slackware hangs on formatting
fedora error msg when try t o install packages
mandrake ( mandriva 2005) kernel panic after finishing the installation
rpath hangs on formatting ..


so any one have any idea about how can i deal with it ?

i hope that i can use suse9.3 ?
but i couldn't figure out how to load my DVD module ?

also do u think that i have to wait until i got OpenSuse 10??

I guess you'll need to pass some kernel parameters from the boot prompt to be able to boot properly. You could try 'insmod=ide-generic' as well. This one solved a problem with harddrive detection.
