Suse 9.2 - Updates Location?

Hey,

Just converted over to Suse 9.2 and I'll be installing it on a few other PC's that don't have an internet connection.

What I'm wondering is; Where are the updates location after you use the Online Update do download them all? I've made sure that I didn't select "Remove Source Packages after Update" - so where are these now located?

thanks!

Found the answer - updates are located here:

/var/lib/YaST2/you/mnt/i386/update/9.2

Now that this is sorted - has anyone had any luck copying all these to a CD and updating other machines from these?

Just use wget and mirror the whole updates directory to a local public http or ftp area. Then, update from that for all your internal servers.

I've tried downloading all the .patch.rpm's into the directory /var/lib/YaST2/you/mnt/i386/update/9.2 and I even tried putting them into /var/lib/YaST2/you/mnt/i386/update/9.2/patches and keep getting an error that states:

Signature check for patch info files failed.
Cannot load patch information.

Patch: imlib-devel-1.9.14-188.2.i586.patch.rpm

The Online update has been set to Local directory and I point it to:
/var/lib/YaST2/you/mnt

I have tried deleting this one with the assumption that it was a bad file and it simply goes to the next file in the directory.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I thought maybe permissions since I copy them to a USB stick drive then take them home, but the permissions are all 755 so I don't see that being a problem either.

The thing I'm trying to do here is update a system that has no broadband connection and right now I have no way to make a CD either.
