The sound used to work just fine with 8.2 but now on 9.1 the only way I can get SuSE to work with KDE 3.2 is by removing the driver.
It would hang during boot randomly.
When trying to reconfigure, YAST will freeze when it get's to the part of "reading Sound Setting"
This then leaves the whole OS completely frozen and only turning OFF+ reboot will get it back.
SuSE 9.1 was installed cleanly and no hardware changes were done since Version 8.2 as it runs on a Laptop.
Anybody have some idea how to fix this?
I didn't find any useful info on the SuSE Website.
I am running SuSE 9.1 professional and purchased the full boxed version.
