I had a similar problem due to the system running out of ram. How much ram and swap are free on your system?

Did you install the ATI drivers or just use the drivers that came with suse? Mine would randomly freeze too when I installed the ati drivers, but that has changed since I installed the new ones.

Go ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/sup.../X/ATI/suse92/ there and click on your architecture, then click on the fglrx folder, then the 8.14.13 folder and download the ATI drivers, then open the readme, print it out so you can follow along because it requires you change to init 3 and just follow the directions. I don't see the all in wonder on the supported list in the Read Me, I dunno if there is a difference or not between the ATI 9800 pro and the ATI all in wonder 9800 Pro.

it's okay, ATI drivers have been known to cause problems, lockups, crashes. ATI is always kind to offer downloads for Linux. If your driver acts up, and you want Xserver to run yast you can use 'vesa' module in a "Device" section in the 'Driver' field and change your default dept to 16 with the modes 1024x768 and 800x600 available

read the ndiswrapper install instructions and in a 2.6 kernel to disable 8kb in kernel config. I'm gone for now, I have not had any sleep in a day. I been gaming all night and now its 7pm, when i'm done watching 'attack of the show' i'm going to bed
