Unhappy SUSE 9.2: findutils.rpm install problem

I installed findutils-4.1.20-2.src.rpm and it shows under rpm -qa. However, the locate and find commands do not appear in the /usr/bin directory. What am I doing wrong? Thank you for any advice.

Packages with the extension src.rpm do not contain the binaries. They are installed in /usr/src/packages and need to be compiled first.

What you need is the package with the extension i586.rpm. Be aware that locate comes with an extra package called 'findutils-locate'
