SuSE 9.1->9.2, breaks RAID
Hi All
I upgraded from 9.1 - which was using software RAID - to 9.2. This appeared to work OK, but my /dev/md1 now only contains one of the discs; the other is shown as not belonging to any RAID array.
If I go into the disc partitioner in YaST, select RAID/Edit and try to add the offending disc to my RAID array, I am told "The RAID to change (/dev/md1) is already created on disk. It can no longer be changed. To change /dev/md1, remove it and create it again."
I am just a little dubious about doing this - is there really no way that I can just add the other partition and get it to sync with the active one?
Cheers
Matthew
