Suse 11.0 full multimedia problems

I am having problems getting full multimedia working with Suse 11.0. I remove xine-lib and install libxine1 and by default it also installs
libx264-60. No problems so far then I install libdvdcss2-1.2.9-9i386.rpm and that is where the problems start. Kaffeine does not play the dvds and everything comes to a slow down. Firefox also slows down as if you are using all the memory. Any help would be appreciated.

Well can I assume you read the report at:

http://www.thejemreport.com/content/view/270/1

Which is about version 10. Only the source folders change.

You got to load libdvdcss for the ability to play DVD's and found at:

download.org/pub/vlc/suse/11.0/

For MP3 playing you need to load lame as well as w32codec-all and found at:

packman.unixheads/suse/11.0

SuSE 11.0 works like a champ with DVD's and MP3's when you load the correct files. You need to read more in the forum on how to add installation sources to SuSE 11.0 and search for the right files.

Thank You,
