The torrent seems to be soooo slow. Anyway I am not in a rush to install it so I can wait for another few hours.

I noticed torrents are slow at first but they speed up after a while.

There is only 1 seeder. When you download completes PLEASE seed the torrent. I'll be publishing a torrent on there next week as well (as soon as my 10.0 DVD comes in) but if people only leech and don't upload, I'm going to yank my torrent. If you're going to use others' bandwidth to download open source software, be considerate and share as well.

Well these were extremely slow for the whole of the download. I think most people just downloaded directly from the ftp servers and didn't use the torrents.

hi reddazz you are right I could not use torrent I downloaded the fice iso CD's via ftp and it took only four hours, but torrent was downloading for five days untill finished, so torrent can not be used for anything.

It took me 2 1/2 days to download using the torrent. I wasn't in a rush to install it so that was fine, but for most people this would have been unacceptable.

I am getting 300 kb/s down right now. I will continue to seed when finished - right now i got 80 kb/s up.

Is this legal? If so, what software is available on it that isn't available on the EVAL DVD?

Of course it's legal. All the software that is on the 5 cd's on the DVD.

Yes according to the license on the DVD and CD-1 of the 5-CD set it is perfectly legal to give away for free. You cannot charge for distribution for the retail edition of SuSE unless you are selling it in the retail box.
