I HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE. ONE TIME SUSE LINUX FOUND SOME WINDOWS FILES IN MBR, OTHER TIME OTHER LINUX FILES NOT 100% ERASED IN MBR AREA. I USED A DIFFERENT HARD DRIVE THAT NEVER HAD WINDOWS PARTITIONS ON IT, and had no more booting problems. I NOTICE LINUX SOMETIMES WILL NOT ERASE ALL WINDOWS FILES AND RARELY NOT ERASE ALL LINUX files AFTER A REPARTITION. SUSE ALSO RUNS BEST WITH AT LEAST 512MB OF RAM MEMORY.If you use a new hard drive with common computer components, you should have no problems with a desk top computer.I notice some people have problems with laptops, so I test linux on desktops only. I notice it's best to burn iso cd's at 8x or slower.I burn cd's only with k3b and no problems. I had problems with some window's cd burning programs at top speed.
