SuSE 10.2 beta2 DVD Drive not auto mounting

I have been using SuSE for a while now and am stoked with it but lately when I insert a DVD the drive doesn't spin or mount. Yast isn't even detecting the install DVD as being inserted.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated

Is it possible that your drive is bad? I'm running several boxes all with suse and the only time I had that problem is when a dvd drive stated going out on me.

btw,
openSUSE 10.2 RC 1 is out now. I just downloaded it the other day and it's much better than 10.2 beta 2.

Thanks for the input Slackass, nah the drive is sweet. I'm dual booting with XP and had no probs with it there.

I'm downloading RC1 as we speak!

I can't get enough of SuSE.
