I meant, in suse 10.2, i can only login as root, all user ids created by me were rejected though i entered the correct password.

Strange behaviour, indeed. I can login with my created user without problems. Never thought it could be a bug!

Other threads also discussed the same problem i faced.
I have got my Suse 10.3 alpha 1, it fixes all suse 10.2 remaining bugs, i will install it this weekend.:)

Good look! :) And let us know about the testing! I use OpenSuSE at work and I am forced to wait for stable releases!

This Saturday when i am free i will try to install suse 10.3 alpha 1, the review in Tuxmachines is positive, i guess it is OK to try.
