SUSE 10.1, Trouble with updating, download patches.

Hi everyone:
this sounds a really dumb question to ask. But i really have no clue how to do it with my Suse 10.1.
Under YaST->software: as I click Online Update, Yast indicates 'No patch available'; as I click, installation source, I am stuck at Adding new souces, because I do not know the exact URL(ftp://..) for updating; as I click Online Update config, and select 'configer now' option with 'Registration code', Yast leads me to the online account login session(i log in my account and enter my activation code), then it seems reach a dead-end.
I am new to SuSE, however, i recalled that in FC5 online updating only takes a couple of mouse clicks.
I got my Suse10.1 package in October, and have not updated once.
Can someone guide me through?
Thanks a lot.

Ok, just do "Online Update config" again but this time don't click the Registration box.
Then it will connect to a server and load an update source for you.

I hope your using 10.1 RM. If your using the old Suse 10.1 and not the "RM" (Re Mastered) version, you may have a lot of trouble with the updater.
If you are using the old 10.1, I would suggest that you download 10.2 GM.
They came up with a real winner with 10.2 GM.
