Suse 10.0 Cisco VPN Client Issue

Hey, I'm trying to install Cisco VPN client. I've tried the newest version 4.6 and older 4.0.5. Neither work. The 4.6 compiles perfectly but when I run the client I can connect but I lose all internet connectivity.

With 4.0.5 I get a compile error:

/home/brian/vpn/vpnclient/interceptor.c: In function ‘add_netdev’:
/home/brian/vpn/vpnclient/interceptor.c:59: sorry, unimplemented: inlining failed in call to ‘supported_device’: function body not available
/home/brian/vpn/vpnclient/interceptor.c:245: sorry, unimplemented: called from here

I've found this post about a similar error in 9.3 on LQ, but that fix doesnt apply to 4.0.5.

Anybody experience this issue and know whats up?

Thanks!

fixed

not even a few minutes, then it clicks in my mind...

The resolution is use 4.0.5

edit interceptor.c and remove the 2 references to "inline" in the file. then run the vpn_install and you're good to go as normal.
