Slow Scrolling in Suse 10.2

Hi,
I am on a Suse 10.2 (x86_64) box here. I used to use suse 10.0 before and i have migrated to this new version.
I find that scrolling down on html files or document files is pretty slow and unresponsive.
Also, kaffeine plays movies with several cuts and pauses in between.
This was not there in suse 10.0 .
I use a comp. with 1GB DDR1 400 mhz RAM, AMDAthlon 64 3200+(2.2ghz), 80 GB s.a.t.a hardrive- i dunno rpm, but 1.5Gbps speed.
The comp. is just 9 months old.

Video Driver

Would try re-installing the video driver for your video card since you upgraded .
