repositories

Hi, I am a newbie in linux and I am a bit fussed about the repositories and the download sources that I have to provide Yast with. I really don't know which I have to add, i guess there are a handful that are complete necessary, which are these? Also when I add a repositorie should i import it's key? Isn't this a security risk? If hypothetically I add a source of someone that wants to harm my computer does the system has any defense? Thank you all

Most are covered in this tutorial.

It is not a security risk to import the key if you going to install the package(s) anyway.
