ralink 2500 driver; suse 9.2 professional


I need to know how to set-up the following file #/etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-ra0

This file is turning on the card at boot. But I am not connecting to my wireless router.

Here is modprobe 2500rt

there are a bunch of utils you can use to discover whether your card is actually working, try iw<tab><tab> you should get a list of at least three utils to use.


I think you should start with iwscan or iwlist, that should give you an idea if your existing WLAN is being detected in the first place.

Sorry I cant be more specific but i went through that a while ago and dont remember the tools exactly.
