Quck AutoYaST Guide?

Hello,

I've inheirited a network where we will have to be doing a bunch of repeated installs of SuSE Linux. Coming from the RedHat/Fedora world, I was pleased to see that there is a Kickstart equivilent in the form of AutoYaST. However, I cannot find any quick start guide to generating the AutoYaST profile file (the equivilent to RedHat's ks.cfg file), and the "Autoinstallation" window in my Control Center doesn't seem to do anything.

Is there a location on the net somewhere which will show me how to use this AutoInstallation tool and/or generate the AutoYaST file by another means? I really don't want to have to manually type in a 20K xml file...

Thanks for any advice.

The answer is: don't try to run the autoyast configurator through the Control Center. Log into KDE as root, then in an command window issue:

# yast autoyast

...and work the screens accordingly.

Note that KDE is optional; however I found the blue-screen text YaST interface to be incredibly frustrating.
