px915p pro..pci express HELP!!!


i got the following spec:

mainboard: intel px915p pro (1xIDE connected to optical drive and 2x ata drives connected to raid card configed as normal IDE connector)

graphic: nvidia pcx5750(pci-express)


so..

can i install suse 9.1 on this comp or not? or any linux distro?

Don't know, but give it a try with SuSE9.1 LiveCD. You'll see if the hardware is supported.

i tried the suse 9.2 live cd..woked fine

but i dont know if it finds my hd's on the raid card if i try the install ver. suse 9.1 dint find my hd's

raid card is: ITE IT8212 ATA RAID Controller
