im having problems compiling amarok svn and kopete svn since i installed kde 3.5rc1
i have compiled them sucessfully before on kde 3.4.3 and also 3.4.2, however ever since ive used kde 3.5rc1 i get this error
I definitely have libacl-devel and libattr-devel in my YAST sources. I setup the main opensuse OSS repo, the extras (inst-source-extra) and the KDE and GNOME supplementary repos.

Possibly I haven't all 4 of the sources you mention, somehow.
However, when I finally had the missing lib(acl|attr)-devel rpms manually downloaded (not on the CDs and not found via the SuSe 10 online update), the beastie compiled and installed fine (eventually
The packages are actually part of the main Suse distro. I installed 10.1 alpha 4 yesterday and there were there. I had only configured the main opensuse repo.

Reddazz, it's always possible I haven't got my online update sources configured correctly. I've always used the CDs, until now. I like the online updates though, ensuring the targets are correct is the next thing on my list...
The 5 cd set does not contain all of the packages in the Suse distro (it even says it on the Suse websites). You need to use the commercial dvd or access these packages using the main Suse repos.
