Problem with DHCP at boot time

Hi

I want to run my application at boot time.It will listen on the 8 IPs(eth0 to eth7).But my mechine uses DHCP. I restarted my mechine. At boot time when my application starts,DHCP assigns one junk IP to one of the above interface. So that my application listens on that junk IP.Later on DHCP assigns valid IP to the same interface. But now if i try to connect through the application through a client, the connection fails as my application is already listening on old junk IP.

Can anybody knows about this problem??

Regards
Prassanta

Thought about making your application start later in the boot process after dhcp has done its job. Don't know what distro you're using to tell you exactly how, but that's what I would try.
