problem to add a media source...


hi

i'm not able to add a cd media source...

a test i make...

i put cd1 suse 9.3 in my cdrom

suse seem to automount to /media/SU930_001

in user mode:

strange, why not /dev/cdrom-> sr0 ?

You should only list the mount point of a device.

ls -l  /media/cdrom
The second column in your /etc/fstab file.
Do not attempt to list a device This is not advisable
Code:
ls -l /dev/cdrom
Just put the SuSE CD and Open yast2; change source and select Add source and select cd:/// or dvd:///
