Problem after KDE 3.4 upgrade

Upgraded my KDE to 3.4, on SuSE 9.2. Now my intellimouse side buttons don't work in firefox.

Originally I modded the XF86Config file to change 4 5 to 6 7, and added the xmodmap line to .xsession. Now when KDE loads it ignores .xsession.

I have to type in the xmodmap command into konsole to get the mouse to behave. Why doesn't .xsession work anymore?

Thanks

have you tried using sax2 to properly configure your mouse?
sax2 has an option that simply allows you to select the type of mouse you have and it will configure it properly for you.

you might need to install the gui package (for sax2).
