Permanent 10.2 Yast error

Just installed 10.2 GM. When I try to use the Yast "Software Management" or "Installation Source" options I get a "Another process is accessing the package database. Package management cannot be used now." It doesn't change on reboot.

When I run "top" I see nothing running that might interfere. I read that former Yast problems had all been resolved. Should I go back to "smart"?

It displays this message, while opensuseupdater or zmd-updater are fetching updates from the repositories. After they have finished (it may well take over 15 minutes), the error message disappears.

Yes that was the problem. Everything is now functioning properly. In my opinion 10.2 GM seems to be the best version since 9.3. Many thanks.
