Unhappy HangUp - connected with GUI

Hello everyone,

I have exactly the same problem, but mine occurs 3times of 5 when I try to switch from GUI to text mode (ctrl+alt+Fx). The same way it hangs up sometimes, when the system is going off and thus stopping the X. The system hangs totally and only hard power off helps (i have notebook, so no hw reset is present).

OpenSUSE 10.3.

Anyone knows where to look for problem solution?
