OpenSuse 10.1 install CDs 2,3

Hi,
I downloaded the 6 CDs and started installing. It went ok all the way to when it asked for CD2. I put CD 2 in there. Click ok. still ask for CD2. Same thing happened. Then if you click ejects, it actually skips it. Anyway, I redownloaded the iso image and burned another copy of 2. Same error occured. Anyone has the same problem. how do you fix it? Is it just a bug?

thanks

I wonder if your CD isn't correct. Can you verify the MD5 sum? (If you don't know what that is, let us know.)

well, when you do the install at the beginning, it will ask you do a media check, CD2,3 all checked out OK. Plus I downloaded from two different places, CD1 and Addon CD were ok. How do I get a MD5 sum? What do I compare it with?

Thanks

Well, here are the sums...

You might check here: http://en.opensuse.org/Download_Help#Checksums

If you have shudder Wintendo, then you can run MD5Summer on the ISOs...

http://www.md5summer.org/

I've never actually had to do it, but this is what I'm told to do.

Good luck!

this is weird. the md5sum is for Remasterred file. the iso file I downloaded have GM in there. i don't know if they are the same or not. I downloaded md5deep. the cd2 md5sum does not match with the list.
