Open suse 12.2 Gnome desktop

Hello to all,

Is it possible to move narrow start bar in open suse 12 GNOME from top to bottom of the screen just like on windows?

If possible, can you please explain how?

This is not intuitive like with other linux distros.

You need to switch to Classic Mode. To do that, you need to go into the Control Center, click System, then (I think under hardware) move the slider to log into fallback. Then log out, log back into GNOME. After that, if right click on the GNOME menus while hold down Alt, you will have an option to move the menu. Just drag it then to the lower panel. Hope this wasn't to late and this trick will not work in 13.1 when it comes out but does work in 12.1, 12.2, and 12.3.
