You have a huge list of repositories. A lot of them are duplicates, even if they point to same location.

and all of them are enabled. I asked to disable all the repositories but (one) UPDATE, (one) OSS and (one)
NON-OSS for some reasons (mainly to reduce failures). Anyway you should definitively remove the duplicates
and correct the wrong ones.

Next things to do are verifying and adjusting the packages needed to manage the packages themeselves. From
your log there are some inconsistencies:

What puzzles me is who and why tries to install an old version of satsolver-tools (0.9.2 is an "ancient" version
that requires an old version of rpm, hence the unsatisfied dependency from librpmdb-4.4.so). Anyway, here is a
step by step guide to install/update the required packages:

1) Switch to root using su -

2) Create a new directory for manually downloading packages, for example:

mkdir /root/my_updates

3) Change to the newly created directory and download the following packages using wget:

wget http://download.opensuse.org/update/11.2/rpm/i586/python-satsolver-0.14.17-1.1.2.i586.rpm
wget http://download.opensuse.org/update/11.2/rpm/i586/satsolver-tools-0.14.17-1.1.2.i586.rpm
wget http://download.opensuse.org/update/11.2/rpm/i586/libzypp-6.31.4-0.1.1.i586.rpm
wget http://download.opensuse.org/update/11.2/rpm/i586/zypper-1.3.4-0.1.3.i586.rpm

As you can see these are the last packages from the official update repository.

4) Now try to install all of them, one at a time in the following order.

rpm -Uvh python-satsolver-0.14.17-1.1.2.i586.rpm
rpm -Uvh satsolver-tools-0.14.17-1.1.2.i586.rpm
rpm -Uvh libzypp-6.31.4-0.1.1.i586.rpm
rpm -Uvh zypper-1.3.4-0.1.3.i586.rpm

If you get some error at some point, stop the installation and show us what's going on. On the
contrary, if all goes well, you can close the terminal and open Yast from the main menu, then
try "Online Update" again and see what happens now (I assume a) you've adjusted your repositories,
b) disabled the unnecessary ones - at least for now and c) switched off the OpenSuse update icon
in the panel, since we don't want any interference while trying to check the updates using Yast).
