Please help or I need to wipe my drive and reinstall weandose!!
Hello people,
I have a Linux sytem for just 2 weeks now. SUSE 10.1 ..
I was so happy to get my soundcard working. But then I made an online update (the first since installation, new kernel). As well, I installed packman rpms, and suddenly even the video output is fine.
But where has my sound gone?
Here some info:

I just know more about these lines, that they are not bohemian villages...
After posting a few threads and going through files and documentations, I am now quite dispaired and at my ends wit.
How can I enable this module, or how can I just "go back" to the old kernel, or does all this make no sense to you.
Please help or I need to wipe my drive and reinstall weandose!!
(you dont want that, do you?)
