No DVI after nvidia install with 6800GT (Suse 9.2 downloaded)

I just downloaded the Suse 9.2 DVD image and installed it. My monitor is hooked up with DVI from my 6800 GT, and worked fine for the installation and everything...until I installed the nvidia driver. After the driver installation, I got the nvidia splash screen and everything worked--except said everything was on my 17 inch CRT which is usually used for my dual monitor (it's hooked up with analog from the 6800). Any easy way to fix this, since it's a pain if I'm at a LAN party with only my LCD (trust me, I am at a LAN party, and it's a pain [I'm in Microsoft Bimbows XP for goodness sakes]). Thank you.

Did you download the nVidia drivers from their site, or did you update them with the Yast Online update?

The drivers available through Yast are not the most recent ones available. They did not, for instance, support my 6600GT at all. X kept reverting to the fbdev framebuffer driver. When I manually edited xorg.conf to use the nvidia driver, X would lock up every time.

It's not the same problem as you... but I'd at least get the newer drivers from nVidia's site and trythem out. They have decent instructions on installing them.

I got the newest drivers from nvidia. In fact, the nvidia patch through YOU has NEVER worked for me. I don't know if it's supposed to be like this, but it always says it's 0 bytes, and when I try to get it (I only selected it, no other updates at the same time) it just instantly goes to the finished screen.
