NFS export of directory with mounted iso-images

Hello !
I am trying to setup an NFS-Installation-Server on SuSE 8.1.

We have mounted the iso-files into the directory structure, and the installation by FTP works fine.

But we cannot get access by NFS, seems like there is a problem, because all the directorys are empty.

We exported the directory one level up to include all.

Example:

/distros/suse/sles9/SUSE-SLES-Version-9
/distros/suse/sles9/SUSE-CORE-Version-9
/distros/suse/sles9/boot (symbolic link)
/distros/suse/sles9/content.xml (symbolic link)

Under SUSE-SLES... or SUSE-CORE... there are the CD-directorys, the iso-images are mounted into this directorys.

so we exported /distros/suse/sles9.

When we mount /distros/suse/sles9 by NFS, we can see the directory structure, but all directorys are empty.

Any hints/tips are welcome !
Thank you.
Stefan

yep, it's not a bug it's a feature to avoid an endless file loop you have to export and mount each one separately 'cause if the directory you export is the mount point it'll work but not if the mount point is a sub-directory of the exported directory.
