need a simple way to play WMA files...


wma files only seem to work in MPlayer (SuSE 9.2),
and not in amaroK and JuK. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

hi there

if u use xine engine in amarok then i think u can run wmv files
that too if u have the required libraries

ok I have xine installed and playing WMAs...
how do I tell amaroK to play through it?

hi there

go to "configure amarok"
then select the engine as xine engine

I want to play wma files with the amarok player
I use xine engine in amarok but still doesn't play wma files.
Can you specify please which are the required libraries?

try from a console to open your file with xine:

xine "my_file.wma" and see what it says!
