Mozilla Mail Spell Checker

I run Mozilla Mail 1.7.8. I'm not the best typist and
some messages are sent with spelling errors.
I am picky, so I paste messages into Open Office
to spell check before I send them.

Is there a spell checker for Mozilla Mail 1.7.8?

Or, another solution compatible with SuSE 9.3?

I have kernel 2.6.11

I installed T-Bird 1.5 "beta" which includes an inline spell checker.
