mount encrypted filesystem fails on boot

Hi all,

We're running SUSE 9.3 with an encrypted filesystem. Upon boot, when the system asks for the password we input it and it continues to boot normally. When we try to access the filesystem, it's empty. If we do a umount and then a mount, it successfully mounts and the data is there. Any thoughts? My best guess is maybe it has to do with our /etc/fstab file. Should there be an entry in /etc/fstab specifying the encrypted filesystem? Here is fstab:

/dev/sda4 / reiserfs acl,user_xattr 1 1
/dev/sda1 /boot reiserfs acl,user_xattr 1 2
/dev/sda2 swap swap pri=42 0 0

and the usual stuff after, but no mention of the encrypted filesystem /encrypt.

Here is the /etc/cryptotab file if that helps:

/dev/loop0 /dev/sda3 /encrypt reiserfs twofish256 acl,user_xattr

I have tried manuals, google, etc but with no luck, so I turn to you. Anybody?

Thanks!
