Live-CD, can I save settings?

Can I save the settings of a LiveCD variant of Linux (I'm using SuSE 9.1 at the moment) to something like a floppy, then start it next time with those settings intact?

yes you sure can. on the hard-drive, on a usb stick etc.

'How' depends on your specific live cd. popular choices such as knoppix, slax and DSL definately include this feature.

Have you seen this feature on the SuSE LiveCD? I'm also trying to get aholt of the DSL CD. (I've tried it and liked it before, but since have been unable to d/l large files.)

sorry i dont know about the suse live cd.

dsl is only 50 megabytes to download....
