This update is probably a week old or so, I have been holding off on the updater since the last kernel update and Nvidia driver deal.
When I hover my mouse over the tray icon, it tells me there are 9 software updates, but when I click on the software updater, it only shows this libzypp update: Highlighting the item and clicking on 'details' gives the following:
libzypp: Update to install MozillaFireFox correctly
Catalog: Suse-Linux-10.2-Updates Type:Patch
Update Version: 2477-0
http://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/update/...0.1.x86_64.rpm This is almost a disaster for the following reasons: - It will cause a lot of support requests about not working plugins - It will break the beagle-firefox extension because that one is not prepared for an x86_64 firefox - Rumours say that zmd has problems resolving the dependencies on update
So although it may be a dumb question, do I really need this? Is it a disaster to install this or a disaster not to. I don't seem to be having any problems as is with Firefox. Gotta love that line about 'rumors' in that update though
