Krita- More like Photoshop

Well, I was messing around in SuSE 10.1, and I happened to find a nifty program called Krita. This may be a substitute for Adobe Photoshop, for those who can't get used to GIMP. Not only is the user interface "more comfortable", but the features are mor like Photoshop. Filter options include Sharpen, Emboss, etc. Well, I know I am certainly happier.

Looks promising for KDE users...

I didn't see or read about (on their website) any cloning capability, though. That is key for photo touch ups.

I'm sticking with GIMP for the time being. It would take a lot for me to go back to Qt.

I was curious so I checked and sure enough Suse 9.3 has it as well! (At first glance) I think it has a long way to go before it even approaches the capability of any of the Adobe Creative Suite, or even The Gimp or Paint Shop Pro, but it does look pretty good for a relatively lightweight image editor.

SuSE 9.3 had it? I never remembered it. Maybe it was because I didn't install Development packages. Actually, I did at one point, and I don't remember it.
