KeyBoard Layout
HI Every Body , I Want A Little Help Here .
My Default Keyboard layout in Opensuse 10.2 is English and i want to add support for Arabic (my native language ) . i want it to be like my windows setup if possible : ** Left CTR+SHIFT --> Left To Right Direction . ** Left ALT+SHIFT --> English Language ** Right CTRL+SHIFT --> Right To Left Direction . ** Right ALT+SHIFT --> Arabic Language . Is it Possible ? And if So , is there any thing do the job of windows language bar ? as an indicator of the current active language ? thank you in advance . :) |
If you are using the KDE desktop it's in your control centre (kcontrol) under regional & accessibilty. I don't know where it is under Gnome.

i added my language to the list , but can't switch to it like what i have used to do in windows .
besides , even if make it default layout , i cant write in arabic ????? |
I've tried it and it works. I added the arabic keyboard language, then selected the 'show country flag' option. This is what happens when I left click the flag and change to arabic. /خخن ÷ شة صقهفهىل هى \قشلاهؤ
