KBluetoothD - transfer of files

I can send files from Suse 10.2 to my PalmOne Treo 650 hand held via Kbluetooth OK but cant get it to accept incomming from the device . Suse gives an error message saying the device is a personal device only and it cannot set up the connection.

You would imagine this would be a relatively simple thing but I have been reading as much as I can find without success. Can anyone give me a steer in the right direction as I have been on this for about a week now.
