kaffeine doesnt work

i just came from debian to suse, i plan on installing it in my job but i found a problem, when i run a avi movie on kaffeine its as if i put it in fast forward, and nothing appears on the screen. im using suse 9,2 (i have already installed the codecsfrom here "http://packman.links2linux.de/?action=046") Can somebody please help me

same heppens to me, I got MPlayer instaed.

You may need to replace the SuSE xine and kaffeine package by the packman versions. Or install mplayer from the same source, as NewToLinuxOS said.

Try using xine-lib and win32 codecs from xines nightly builds page instead of the one that comes with Suse.
