Jukebox won't play files

I've just installed Suse 10.0 and most of it is ok, however when I set up a playlist (mp3) with Jukebox, it lists all the tracks but refuses to play them. No error messages, no troubleshooting tips. Is there a dependancy problem here or maybe problems with permissions - it's a nightmare.

Have you installed mp3 support? SuSE doesn't care for mp3s right out of the box. The guide at http://www.thejemreport.com/mambo/content/view/178/42/ covers installing multimedia for SuSE pretty good, at least it has worked for me.

Many thanks for that reply - I will try it and see. It's a pity that Suse doesn't tell you things like this up front!

PS. Later update - it looks as if I needed kdemultimedia3-mad. Juk works fine now!
