Is there a way to use Novell's OpenOffice on any other distro?

Is there a way to use Novell's OpenOffice on any other distro?

I'm having serious problems with openSUSE 10.2 on my system http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...d.php?t=549144

So I can't use openSUSE 10.2 and have to use some OTHER distro.

But I really wanna use ONLY Novell's OO coz its fantastically more compatible with MS stuff.

Theres a Windows version of Novell's OO available but is there a Linux version available anywhere?

I tried using the OO rpms from the openSUSE DVD on PCLinuxOS but came across many failed dependencies.

So plz help me out with this. Lemme know if there is ANY SUCCESSFUL way of using Novell's OO on ANY distro other than Suse.

Thank you for your time....

Yes I've seen that there is. And you'd know it too if u have used BOTH of them. I've found Novell's OO to be more compatible with MS stuff than the standard one which other distros come with. Novell's OO shows MS docs in a FAR BETTER way (u'll almost feel ur using MS Word!!) than standard OO. I've tested this with many docs and get the same results. Novell's OO always shows the correct formatting and text while plain OO often seems to muddle things, unless you are viewing very simple MS docs.

Plz let me know if there is ANY SUCCESSFUL way of using Novell's OO on ANY distro other than Suse. Thanks...

Thats one of the reasons why openSUSE 10.2 really won me....not to mention its speed and reliability even with Beagle & OO quickstarter running in the background, with just 256MB RAM that I have on my system. Incredibly amazing & praise-worthy
