Is there a way to change this browser behaviour?


In Windows, when I click on the address bar, the whole address is highlighted. Is there a way to have Linux (as I've noticed that the same happens in all Linux variants I have used) to that?

Here's what I mean

do you mean in konqueror while browsing system or in firefox whiel surfing net?

Well I mainly use firefox. But I would like any broweser I use to highlight the whole of the address on 1st click.

this is easy in FF
in the address bar enter:
about:config
next set
browser.urlbar.clickSelectsAll - value = true
Sorry don't know Konqueror, don't use it
