IPOD Manager for SUSE10SP1
I've been running Yamipod to add and manage to a certain extent files for my 30gb IPOD. As of late Yamipod fails to move files to the IPOD. Does anyone know of a viable replacement? I've tried Ephpod but that doesn't seem to work either. Thanks much. *Amarok doesn't work either.

Reason: addtion
Amarok should work; not sure if your version is (too) old, but at least the fairly recent versions (say 1 year old or so) should work without trouble. The not-so-newest versions may have a small hazzle with setting the device up, but after that it should work. Can you get Amarok to detect the iPod, or what is the problem?
I haven't even heard about "yamipod" or "ephpod", the best programs I've tried so far are Amarok and GTKpod. Banshee is probably supposed to work too, but you need to have a newish version (old ones don't do).

If I recall correctly (I'm at work) Banshee reported an error stating that the version of ITunes that updated my IPOD db was too new and therefore could not be used. I've resorted to updating the IPOD using Yamipod on Vista (yecch). Itunes won't even do it. It may be time to dump everything on the IPOD and reformat.
